Projet SAUVéR – SSé Québec
Varennes, Saint-Fulgence, Saint-Simeon, Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu, Maniwaki, Iles-de-la-Madeleine, Carleton-sur-Mer, Saint-Constant, Mercier and the MRC de Pontiac, are carrying out a project to reduce gas emissions (GHG) by introducing electric car-sharing vehicles into municipal fleets and setting up electric service stations. City employees will reserve and use electric vehicles for their needs during working hours. When not in use, electric vehicles will be made available to external users in the community.
The project consists of acquiring ten electric vehicles (one per municipality), setting up a car-sharing management system, installing charging stations, designing scalable and adaptable long-term electric service stations in municipalities, build car-sharing stations and implement car-sharing in the community.

SAUVéR Project -SSe-AFMNB, Pilot Project
The Truck and Specialized Transportation Electrification Project develops solutions to electrify trucks or some of their components to reduce GHG emissions and transportation-related environmental impacts.
In partnership with the City of Nicolet and the Cities of Plessisville, Varennes and Beaconsfield, YHC Environnement is conducting a feasibility study on the electrification of trucks and municipal specialized transportation.

AFMNB Electric Mobility Transition Project – TMe-AFMNB
AFMNB Electric Mobility Transition works for transportation electrification in New Brunswick and more specifically for municipalities that are members of l’Association francophone des municipalités du Nouveau-Brunswick (AFMNB).
In collaboration with YHC Environnement, AFMNB is building partnerships to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility through research, pilot projects, policies, programs and strategies for growth industry market share. AFMNB becomes a regional and provincial resource center by publishing relevant and up-to-date information on electric mobility in New Brunswick, Canada and elsewhere. AFMNB raises awareness, educates and promotes electric mobility to its member municipalities and their communities.

I3P Beaconsfield
The i3P project is an innovative approach that will allow the City of Beaconsfield and its residents to prioritize actions together to become a more resilient community:
i – Inventory of greenhouse gases (GHGs) from municipal and community activities
P – Action plan to reduce GHGs and find the most promising measures to implement
P – Adaptation plan to ensure the safety, health and well-being of the community in the face of climate change
P – Community energy planning to better manage our energy consumption

Climate Change Transition – AFMNB
The Climate Change Transition Project – AFMNB provides municipalities that are members of the Francophone Association of New Brunswick with all the support they need to update their GHG inventories to ensure that progress is monitored action plans, and to check whether these GHG reduction measures are delivering the expected results. The AFMNB will also present the results of these measures and actions with dedicated tools and will check whether the emission reduction target will be achieved.
9 municipalities are participating in this project: Bertrand, Dieppe, Kedgwick, Paquetville, Petit-Rocher, Pointe-Verte, Rogersville, Saint-Quentin and Shippagan.

Projet Énergie Renouvelable et Efficacité Énergétique Biomasse (PEREEB) – Pilot Project
The study component enabled the Association francophone des municipalités du Nouveau-Brunswick (AFMNB) to implement a second component to carry out identified pilot projects. The selection of projects was made considering a return on investment at a rate of less than 15 years after the grant and according to the political will of the participating municipalities to use a biomass system. The biomass system allows the use of the locally or regionally produced residual biomass and to make improvements to the energy efficiency of the affected buildings.
4 municipalities are participating in this project: Atholville, Caraquet, Rivière-Verte and Saint-Léonard.

Climate Change Action Program (PACC II) AFMNB New Brunswick
The Climate Change Action Program (PACC II) aims to provide maximum support to participating members of the Association francophone des municipalités du Nouveau-Brunswick (AFMNB) for the completion of their GHG inventories and action plans. The PACC II strategy aims to build action plans and a portfolio of projects that are efficient and adapted to the specific conditions and needs of each participant. It favors a comprehensive approach of support and consultation in order to maximize the economic, environmental and social benefits of the actions put in place for localities, their regions and all Members of the AFMNB.
AFMNB’s PACC II allows municipalities to obtain the first 3 steps of 5 of the Partners in Climate Protection (CPP) program. Steps 4 and 5 are the implementation of action plans and monitoring and reporting results.
9 municipalities are participating in this project: Atholville, Beresford, Caraquet, Grande-Anse, Haut-Madawaska, Neguac, Maisonnette, Rivière-Verte and Saint-Léonard.
